Former Emmerdale star helps launch QualitySolicitors Morrish
Difficulty in finding a reliable law firm led a West Yorkshire-born barrister to launch a new concept in high street solicitors.
Craig Holt, who grew up in Cleckheaton, decided to create a national legal brand after having to pick a solicitor at random when moving home and needing conveyancing work.
Bradford law firm Morrish is one of the first local practices to join Mr Holt\’s Quality Solicitors network which aims to have 100 members by the end of this year, rising to around 250 in due course.
The launch of Quality Solicitors has also been driven to meet increased competition from supermar-kets and financial organisations.
Mr Holt said: \”Quality Solicitors aims to use established local practices to provide a network of high street lawyers who will make it easier and less formal for people to seek legal advice.\”
Morrish was the first of 15 Yorkshire lawyers being re-launched as Quality Solicitors this week.
