Equity Member Receives Compensation After RTA
Morrish Solicitors have recently secured compensation for a member of Equity who was injured after being involved in a road traffic accident whilst out on his bike.
The Equity Member fell off his bike when he hit a ridge/bump in the road.
As a result of the accident the Equity member suffered a fractured elbow and permanent stiffness causing him to have 2 operations and time off work.
He sought for the support of his Trade Union, Equity, to pursue a personal injury claim and he was put in touch with Laura Nabozny at Morrish Solicitors, their legal provider for personal injury claims. With case notes and evidence from independent experts and witnesses, we were able to establish that he had a claim.
The Defendant informally admitted liability but subsequently resiled on that admission before settling out of Court. As experts in the industry, we were able to calculate his self-employed loss of earnings.
As a benefit of being an Equity member, the Claimant wasn’t required to pay any fees.
