Morrish Solicitors LLP receives Lexcel accreditation

Morrish Solicitors has successfully achieved the Law Society’s Lexcel accreditation for client care, compliance and practice management.

We are pleased to have once more received Lexcel accreditation. Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark. It sets the standard for client care, risk management, people management, structure and strategy, financial management, information, and file and case management.

The accreditation process includes rigorous evaluation of case files, the firm’s policies and procedures, its strategies, and interviews with a cross-section of members of staff. The Lexcel report has highlighted a number of areas where we exceed the minimum requirements for accreditation and shows areas of good practice.

These include: strategies to support trainees at a range of levels including work experience students, apprentices and graduates; accreditation to cyber essentials and cyber essentials plus digital security; excellent supervision and communications; dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility and marketing strategies; a strategy developed to support health and wellbeing alongside reward and remuneration for employees, including an employee assistance program; and a clear and comprehensive policy for the prevention of crime by tax evasion.

David Sorensen, Managing Partner said:

“The partners and I are thrilled to once again achieve Lexcel accreditation. It is testament to the hard work of all our staff across legal, administration, support and finance teams that we excel in all areas of the business. Lexcel is an important industry mark of quality, which can reassure new and potential clients that they will receive the best possible service when choosing Morrish.”
