Morrish Solicitors Promotes Daniel Kindell to Head of Employment Rights
We are pleased to announce we have promoted partner, Daniel Kindell, to Head of Employment Rights. His promotion recognises Daniel’s outstanding contribution to both the firm and his clients, as well as the growing demand for Morrish’s Employment Rights services.
After joining Morrish Solicitors in 2005 as a Legal Assistant and going on to complete his training contract with the firm, Daniel was admitted as a solicitor in 2008. Since then, he has specialised in helping individuals, trade unions and associations across all aspects of employment law, including complex and high value discrimination claims, unfair dismissal, working time, whistleblowing, professional disciplinary and regulatory matters, employment status, industrial action and trade union detriment claims, as well as union rule issues.
Daniel regularly provides training packages and webinars to clients on all of these aspects.
Daniel has particular expertise in group litigation and has become one of the leading protective award lawyers in the country. Daniel has secured protective award compensation for thousands of individuals made redundant by household names such as Phones4u, Citylink and others, most recently securing the maximum award of 90 days’ pay for former Thomas Cook employees, which attracted much media attention. Daniel has featured on more than one occasion in the Law Society Gazette’s “Lawyer in the News”.
He is also the co-author of the Institute of Employment Rights publication “Social Media and the Law”..

Daniel will continue in his role of Partner at the firm, which he has held since October 2018.
