Morrish Solicitors Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge – 5th May
12 members of the Morrish team are going to scale the three highest peaks in Yorkshire on 5th May to raise funds for Candlelighters.
The walk is approximately 23 miles in length with an elevation gain of over 1000m, tackling Whernside 736m, Ingleborough 724m and Pen-y-Ghent 694m. We’re aiming to complete this challenging trip in 12 hours, so we best get training!
We asked our staff to vote to choose our Charity Partnership – Candlelighters won with an overwhelming majority. We wanted to show our support for a charity that has affected many people within our community and this is our way of giving something back.
Candlelighters is a Yorkshire based charity supporting children with cancer and their families. They offer practical, emotional and financial support to all the 150 children diagnosed with cancer every year in the county.
