Career:

I started at Morrish Solicitors in September 2023 as a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice. Prior to my apprenticeship, I studied my undergraduate degree of Criminology at Sheffield Hallam University, where I graduated in 2022 with first-class honours. I then went on to study my Master’s in Law at the University of Law in Leeds, where I chose to undertake self-guided research into menopause discrimination as part of my dissertation.

Achievements:

I was awarded the Oxford University Press Prize for Criminology during the second year of my undergraduate degree. I was awarded this as I achieved the highest average grades across the criminology department for the academic year 2020/21. Equally, been offered my apprenticeship at Morrish is also one of my proudest moments!

Other interests:

I enjoy spending my spare time and weekends with my family and dog, reading (and watching) thrillers and the occasional run. During the spring and summer, I spend most of my free time down at the local cricket club, where if I am not watching or socialising (or running the bar for the senior’s team!) I am playing in the ladies’ softball team.
