Twelve Morrish members of staff –Sandy Kaur, Becca Wharton, Rizz Bashir, Laura Pickersgill, Sammy Simpson, Kiran Chana, Emily Meredith, Monika Volsing, Alisha Hyams, Ashley Dixon, James Shingleton and Clair Watmore will be taking part in the 5k Color Me Rad run to raise money for our Charity of the Year, Children’s Heart Surgery Fund!! It will take place at Harewood House, Leeds on 21 May 2016.
Children’s Heart Surgery Fund couldn’t be more local to us…they are literally steps around the corner from our office, based at the Leeds General Infirmary.
They provide support for children and adults born with Congenital Heart Defects. CHSF provides valuable equipment, resources and research, as well as providing a support service for both the children and their families along the way.
They cover the regions of Yorkshire, Humberside and North Lincolnshire. Around 400 children from these regions need open heart surgery every year. They aim to ensure these children have the best possible chance of survival and to help their families in whatever way needed during their stay in hospital.
This skydive, is one of many fundraising activities that we will be taking part in over the next year.
